Dewen Cheng has a doctoral degree in co-cultivation from the University of Arizona and the Beijing Institute of Technology. He is a professor at the Beijing Institute of Technology and holds more than 40 international top journal articles in the field of optics. He has breakthrough research in the fields of freeform surfaces, waveguides, and light fields, and has undertaken major research projects in the national display.

He has worked in the Shanghai Institute of Optics and Mechanics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences for more than ten years. He has been engaged in business management and planning for nearly ten years. He has extensive experience in upgrading the value of technology brands, and has operated and managed product platforms such as Photovoltaic.
Experts in optical mold design and R&D, numerical control manufacturing and nano-manufacturing, once participated in the national 863 project as optical manufacturing core researchers; there are only a few engineering experts who master the core process of ultra-precision free-form optical processing technology.
